I have fond memories of this trip from when I was 10. This is my brother, Mark, on the right and me in the back on the steps of the Parthenon. My Dad was making week-long stops on our way to Ceylon to be briefed by the U.N. so the two of us would become very aquainted with our hotels and the surrounding pastry shops, etc. Shortly after this picture was taken, I became lost in the Athens nat. museum. It was a long day. I remember walking with my brother to a bumper-car ride set up near our hotel and riding it all afternoon while we were there.
