From the President -- We had perfect weather for our 2008 Members' Appreciation Night.
We also showed once again that nothing will stand in the way of the Loring Park
Shuffleboard Club's determination to play the game. Despite the lack of shed and
scoreboards,
ten dedicated core members improvised and enjoyed a wonderful
kickoff event. After the contest, Nettie Andrews was incredibly hospitable in inviting
the group to her nearby home for refreshments and even more fun.
