You've heard of a New York Minute.* Well, what happens in the life of the world's most popular, globally-edited, open compendium of information, during a single, English-language, Wikipedia Minute?

Can we -- through a collection of abstracted information -- understand something about what's on the world's collective (English-speaking) mind within a relatively small timeframe? If the following is any indication, it's everything from late 20th century Pop music ("Tom Jones discography‎") to Orchids ("List of Dendrobium species") to Pot Noodle ("Pot Noodle"). *According to Wikipedia, a New York minute is an informal term used to mean a very short period of time. The term refers to the common perception that the people in New York City are hurried and impatient.
