television television (tv for short) is one of the most influential things in the world. but really, television is a neutral medium. it's all about how it's used. 100 years ago, people would've been stunned to know that there was a system on the horizon that would instantly transmit moving images of live or recorded events. they'd have been equally surprised to see that we're now using it primarily for inane talk shows, ridiculous sitcoms, and insulting reality shows. |
