the visible woman. what a great thing! the visible woman model has been around for decades—its sole purpose to educate us about what's under the skin. perhaps it should have been named the invisible woman, since her clothes and epidermis are nowhere to be seen. the name too could be embraced by feminists (or post-feminists) as an empowering term for the formerly less well-represented gender. |
